1. Purpose

IOFM’s mission is to enable best-in-class performance and help our Members work with greater confidence and increased efficiency through education, training and peer networking. The IOFM Member Forum is a place for IOFM’s community of financial operations professionals to engage with their peers for networking, exchanging ideas, sharing challenges and opportunities, as well as celebrating success stories.

2. No spamming, advertising or self-promotion

This forum is not intended for commercial offers or advertising products or services. Posts that do not comply with this policy will be deleted at the discretion of IOFM Staff.

3. When should I use the Forum, and when should I use Ask the Expert? 

The Forum is designed to facilitate the immediate exchange of ideas and experiences with your peers. You should use it to have a conversation with your peers and bounce ideas off of others who might be going through the same thing as you!

On the other hand, IOFM's Ask the Expert feature is designed to connect you with IOFM's subject matter experts and veteran practitioners who will research and directly answer one-off, specific questions for you in 5-7 business days. (IOFM Professional, Business and Enterprise Members can submit unlimited questions.) If you have a question or challenge that is related to a compliance matter, we strongly suggest you start with Ask the Expert.
